MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. Voter turnout in the State Duma elections was 59.8%, with 67,448,094 people casting ballots, Russian Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairwoman Ella Pamfilova said at a meeting summing up the election results.

"Voter turnout in the State Duma elections was 59.8%. A total of 67,448,094 people cast their ballots," she noted.

Pamfilova specified that in 2021, 51.82% of voters, or 56,484,685 people, cast their ballots, while in 2016, 47.88% of voters, or 52,700,992 people, did so.
