MOSCOW, September 24. /TASS/. Russia will take adequate retaliatory measures if the US or other countries conduct full-scale nuclear tests, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in connection with the 30th anniversary of the opening for signature of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).

"However, if the United States or other states parties to the treaty conduct full-scale nuclear tests, Russia will have to respond in kind. We continue to follow this approach consistently," she noted.
