MOSCOW, November 6. /TASS/. At least fifteen reports on explosives on board of European aircraft were received during Friday and security warnings also spread to airports, TASS reports.
Information was received that at least 15 European planes made emergency landings, 9 of them in the Czech Republic, the CTK news agency said. In France, according to AFP, 4 airplanes landed because of threats. Reports also came from Romania and Italy.
Furthermore, two "security incidents" have been reported thus far at EU airports. The first report concerned Henri Coanda International Airport in Bucharest. The Romanian Intelligence Service clarified that "the threat did not contain specifics."
In Denmark, police increased security at Copenhagen Airport due to an "air traffic threat." An investigation into the incident is underway, though "there was and is no security threat to passengers or other persons at the airport," the law enforcement authority said.
In recent days, dozens of reports have been received about alleged bombs on planes following European routes. Some of them made emergency landings. So far, none of these threats have been confirmed, and no explosives have been found.
