BERLIN, March 18. /TASS/. The phone call between the Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, is believed to be "the most important in the world," Austria’s Kronen Zeitung said.
"This phone call is believed to be the most important in the world. Everybody is watching out for what the upcoming hours will bring," it wrote.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told TASS earlier that Putin’s call with Trump has ended. Their previous phone talks took place on February 12. Prior to that, the two countries’ leaders had not talked to each other for three years. In furtherance of the February Putin-Trump call, Russian and US delegations met in Saudi Arabia to discuss both the restoration of bilateral relations and the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
