Sky News says another British man dies fighting in Ukraine

On November 1, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that nearly 200 foreign mercenaries had been killed in the area of the special military operation over the previous two weeks

LONDON, November 9. /TASS/. Simon Lingard, a British national who fought in Ukraine for the Kiev authorities, died in hostilities, Sky News said citing the mercenary’s family.

The British television news channel reported that the family of Lingard, who died on November 7, had launched a crowdfunding campaign to organize his funeral. Sky News says that Lingard "is believed to be the third British national to die so far in the conflict."

On November 1, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said that nearly 200 foreign mercenaries had been killed in the area of the special military operation over the previous two weeks.
