MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a brief meeting with permanent members of the country’s Security Council later on Wednesday, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"The president is planning to convene a brief meeting with permanent members of the country’s Security Council this afternoon," Peskov said

Last week, Putin convened an expansive Security Council meeting where he made a number of important announcements. Specifically, the president declared a curfew in the four new Russian regions, announced the creation of a government-led coordination council to meet the needs of the special military operation and bestowed governors with more powers for the provision of security in their regions.
