MOSCOW, August 11. /TASS/. The 2nd Russia-Thailand Investment Forum will take place in Bangkok on October 29-31, 2026, the Roscongress Foundation told TASS.
The event is aimed at unlocking the existing economic potential between the two nations and laying the groundwork for long-term investment projects both in Russia and Southeast Asia. This year, the forum will center on the theme "Russia-Thailand: A New Era of Economic Partnership."
It will bring together key government officials, business executives, major investors, and entrepreneurs from Russia, Thailand, and Southeast Asian nations to explore joint projects across metallurgy, agriculture, energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, the platform economy, real estate, and tourism.
"We see great potential for developing economic ties between Russia and Thailand. I am confident that the Russia-Thailand Investment Forum is a unique vehicle for realizing this potential," Ivan Demchenko, Chairman of the Russia-Thailand Business Council, emphasized.
According to him, the forum will help Russian and Thai entrepreneurs "not only forge direct ties with each other, development institutions, and regulators in both countries, but also create conditions for implementing their long-term investment projects in Russia and Southeast Asia."
