Russia prepares list of fuel and energy service companies banned from trading stocks

It is reported that individual transactions can be made on the basis of special presidential permits

MOSCOW, November 9. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin approved a list of 191 companies which manufacture equipment for fuel and energy sector companies and provide maintenance and repair services, as indicated in the text of the presidential executive order.

Such companies are now covered by the presidential executive order of August 5 on special economic measures in the finance and fuel and energy spheres due to the unfriendly actions of certain countries and organizations.

In particular, the list comprises entities of Baker Hughes, Schneider Electric, BASF, Eurasia Drilling Company, Integra, Siemens, Schlumberger, Enel, Unipro and others.

Such service providers are banned from making stock transactions in companies from unfriendly states, including in their subsidiaries until the end of the year.

Individual transactions can be made on the basis of special presidential permits.
