Russia, UAE discuss promising areas of military-technical cooperation — official

It is reported that the current stage of relations in the field of military-technical cooperation is marked by the development of interaction between Russia and the UAE with an emphasis on its cooperative component

ABU DHABI /UAE/, February 20. /TASS/. Russia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are discussing both the implementation of existing contracts on military-technical cooperation and promising areas of cooperation, a representative of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation at the IDEX-2023 international defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi told TASS.

"Bilateral consultations are being held in all areas of cooperation. We are discussing with partners both the implementation of existing contracts and promising areas of cooperation," the official said.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation stressed that the UAE has been a reliable partner of Russia in the field of military-technical cooperation for many years.

"The current stage of relations in the field of military-technical cooperation is marked by the development of interaction between Russia and the UAE with an emphasis on its cooperative component," the official added.

IDEX-2023, an international exhibition of military equipment and weapons, is being held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) from February 20-24. The leading enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex are showcasing more than 200 full-scale samples of weapons and military equipment, ammunition and equipment at the event.
