NEW YORK, May 4. /TASS/. Rudy Giuliani, who was the mayor of New York and US President Donald Trump’s lawyer, has been taken to hospital in critical condition, his spokesperson Ted Goodman said.

"Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition," he said in a statement.

The reason behind his hospitalization is unknown at this point.
