When asked about the Jewish state’s position on Ukraine’s glorification of Bandera, Alexander Ben Zvi recalled that Israeli ambassadors to Ukraine had issued notes of protest on that issue

MOSCOW, March 24. /TASS/. Israel opposes glorification of Nazi collaborator Bandera in Ukraine and remains in touch with Kiev on the subject, Israel’s acting Ambassador to Russia Alexander Ben Zvi told TASS in an interview.

When asked about the Jewish state’s position on Ukraine’s glorification of Bandera, the diplomat replied: "We’ve stated this on many occasions. <…> Our ambassadors to Ukraine even issued notes of protest before. So we are well aware of this."

"And we remain in touch with the Ukrainian side," Ben Zvi added.
