US does not let Ukraine start negotiations with Russia — Belarusian president

According to the Belarusian leader, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is violating the basic principles of the negotiating process

MINSK, November 27. /TASS/. The United States does not allow the Ukrainian leadership to start negotiations with Russia, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said in an interview with the "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" program in reply to questions from journalist Pavel Zarubin.

"If you mean the leadership of Ukraine, they are not allowed, for sure. The Americans want to knock down Europe in one blow, in one go, and then get close to China through Russia. Naturally, through crushing Russia," Lukashenko said.

According to the Belarusian leader, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is violating the basic principles of the negotiating process. "The Ukrainians’ mistake, Zelensky’s mistake is that he is violating the classical principles of the negotiating process. The more so, when he speaks with huge Russia. It is inadmissible to advance preliminary conditions. He’d better sit down at the negotiating table and advance his conditions there. And the second classical principle is compromising," he said.

"It is wrong when people kill their kin. We are all of the same blood. I see that Russia understands it. Will Ukraine finally see it?" he added.
