Top British diplomat announces more aid for Ukraine while on Kiev visit — TV

James Cleverly announced that London would give Kiev another 3 million pounds sterling ($3.6 million) for rebuilding local schools and send ambulances

KIEV, November 25. /TASS/. British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs James Cleverly has arrived in Kiev with a pledge for a continued support for Ukraine, Ukraine 24 television channel reported on Friday.

At a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, Great Britain’s top diplomat said that the UK "isn’t just talking about Ukraine, we’re providing concrete support for the defense of Ukraine."

Cleverly announced that London would give Kiev another 3 million pounds sterling ($3.6 million) for rebuilding local schools and send ambulances.

On Saturday, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited Kiev to announce that London would supply 125 anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine as well as special equipment to reinforce the country’s air defenses and to battle drones. In its turn, Great Britain’s top brass said it would send a new package including, among other things, 25,000 sets of extreme cold weather clothing and 150 heated tents.
