Europe ready to return to dialogue with Russia at any time — Spanish top diplomat

Jose Manuel Albares expressed an opinion that dialogue and diplomacy are capable of resolving any differences

MADRID, November 7. /TASS/. Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares asserted that Europe is ready to return to the negotiating table with Russia at any time in an interview with the Antena 3 TV channel on Monday.

The Spanish top diplomat said that Europeans are "united in defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity" as well as in their aspiration for "peace to return to Ukraine as soon as possible." He admitted that the upcoming winter "will be very hard."

Albares expressed an opinion that dialogue and diplomacy are capable of resolving any differences. "We, the Europeans, sat at all diplomatic tables on dialogue with Russia," he asserted. "And Russia left the table. We are ready to return to it at any moment," the diplomat claimed.
