Haftar vows decisive battle to expel foreign mercenaries unless they leave Libya

CAIRO, November 1. /TASS/. Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the commander of the Libyan National Army, has vowed to start a decisive battle to expel foreign mercenaries from Libya unless they leave voluntarily, the Afrigate News portal reported on Tuesday.

"If peaceful efforts fail as we seek to expel foreign forces and mercenaries from the country, we will fight a decisive battle for the liberation of Libya," he said in a speech.

Haftar said his forces will "move in line with the will of the Libyan people, after all previous efforts brought us to a dead end and disappointing results".
