IAEA says it started inspecting two facilities in Ukraine

This week, Rafael Grossi will provide initial conclusions from those activities

VIENNA, October 31. /TASS/. Experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have started inspecting two nuclear facilities in Ukraine in accordance with the Kiev government’s request, the agency said in a Twitter post on Monday.

"[IAEA Director General Rafael] Grossi said IAEA safeguards inspectors had begun - and would soon complete - verification activities at two locations in Ukraine, following a request from the Ukrainian government," the agency said.

"Later this week, he [Grossi] will provide initial conclusions from those activities," it said.
