MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Russia is monitoring the situation in the Middle East with concern and condemns strikes on civilian targets, Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko said in an interview with RTVI, commenting on the strikes on the international airport in Riyadh.
"We, of course, are watching with great concern what is happening in Yemen and around it. In 2022, hostilities there effectively ceased thanks to the agreements reached between the Yemeni parties with the participation of Saudi Arabia," he said.
"And, of course, Russia condemns attacks on any civilian facilities, on any civilian infrastructure. We also said this in relation to the attacks that occurred on Riyadh International Airport."
