According to the top Russian diplomat, BRICS has a "special culture of communication, which rests on mutual respect, sovereign equality, due account of the opinions of all of its members, finding common solutions, and the striving for the common good"

NEW DELHI, May 15. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has lauded BRICS as a force promoting balance in the global arena.

"Amid the tectonic changes in the geopolitical and geo-economic landscape, BRICS is called to act as a force that is helping find balance in international relations, forming a positive agenda of global development on the basis of consensus and equality. Only such an approach, but not confrontation or a zero-sum game can yield the desired result," he said at the second plenary session of the BRICS ministerial meeting in New Delhi.

According to the top Russian diplomat, BRICS has a "special culture of communication, which rests on mutual respect, sovereign equality, due account of the opinions of all of its members, finding common solutions, and the striving for the common good." "This has always ensured BRICS's stability and authority among the countries of the global majority," he added.
