Special airplane taking last Russian evacuees from Gaza back to Moscow

The Russian Emergencies Ministry reported that the Il-76 airplane will transport another 73 people today, including 45 children

MOSCOW, December 18. /TASS/. An IL-76 Russian Emergencies Ministry airplane is taking the last group of Russian citizens evacuated from the Gaza Strip home, the agency's press service told TASS.

"A special airplane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry departed Cairo for Moscow. The Il-76 airplane will transport another 73 people today, including 45 children," the Emergencies Ministry said.

On November 12, the Russian Emergencies Ministry together with the Russian Foreign Ministry began evacuating Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip. During this time, 11 ministry airplanes transported 1,049 people, including 473 children. About 20 inidividuals were taken to various medical institutions after arriving in Russia. Currently none of them are hospitalized.
