MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russian combat aircraft, missile and artillery troops wiped out ten Ukrainian army command posts in the past day during the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Tuesday.
"Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile and artillery troops wiped out ten enemy command posts in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlovka and Berestovoye in the Kharkov Region, Dobrovolye, Terny, Torskoye, Verkhnekamenskoye, Andreyevka, Vodyanoye and Novosyolka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Nikolskoye in the Kherson Region, and also 62 artillery units at firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 148 areas," the spokesman said.
Russian forces inflicted damage on Ukrainian troops by firepower and pushed them back to initial positions in the Kharkov Region in the Kupyansk area, eliminating over 30 militants, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy’s company tactical group made unsuccessful attempts in the area of the settlement of Ivanovka in the Kharkov Region to attack Russian troops. As a result of damage inflicted by firepower, Ukrainian army units were pushed back to initial positions," the spokesman said.
Russian forces eliminated enemy manpower and military hardware during the combat, the general said.
"Over 30 Ukrainian troops, two combat armored vehicles and two pickup trucks were destroyed," Konashenkov reported.
Russian forces thwarted an attempt by a Ukrainian tactical group to advance in the Lugansk People’s Republic in the Krasny Liman area, eliminating over 40 militants in the past day, the general said.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian army units thwarted an attempt by a Ukrainian company tactical group to advance towards the settlement of Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
Russian artillery fire and strikes by assault and army aviation aircraft wiped out over 40 Ukrainian troops, two infantry fighting vehicles and four motor vehicles in that area, the general specified.
Russian forces continue their advance in the Donetsk area and eliminated over 100 Ukrainian troops in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the Donetsk direction, Russian forces continue their offensive operations. In the past 24 hours, they eliminated over 100 Ukrainian troops, one tank, five combat armored vehicles and five motor vehicles," the spokesman said.
Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian Osa-AKM air defense system in the Lugansk People’s Republic in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Makeyevka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, a Ukrainian Osa-AKM surface-to-air missile system was destroyed," the spokesman said.
Russian forces obliterated a US-made AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radar of the Ukrainian army in the Donetsk People’s Republic in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Nikolayevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, an AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radar of US manufacture was obliterated," the spokesman said.
Russian forces destroyed a Ukrainian Pelikan target acquisition radar in the Dnepropetrovsk Region in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the area of the settlement of Malomikhailovka in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, a Ukrainian Pelikan target acquisition radar for surface-to-air missile systems was obliterated," the spokesman said.
In addition, Russian forces wiped out a Ukrainian missile and artillery armament depot near the community of Belogorye in the Zaporozhye Region, the general added.
Russian air defense forces shot down nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and intercepted two Uragan rockets in the past day, Konashenkov reported.
"In the past 24 hours, air defense capabilities shot down nine Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of the settlements of Chervonaya Dibrova, Krasnorechenskoye, Golikovo, Ploshchanka and Zhitlovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Rybinskoye and Maksimovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.
Russian air defense systems also intercepted two rockets of Uragan multiple launch rocket systems in the area of the community of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson Region, the general added.
In all, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 333 Ukrainian warplanes, 177 helicopters, 2,581 unmanned aerial vehicles, 391 surface-to-air missile systems, 6,876 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 904 multiple rocket launchers, 3,628 field artillery guns and mortars and 7,406 special military motor vehicles since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, Konashenkov reported.
