Russia is not just land, but primarily, it is people and their traditions, while the key foundation of the country’s success is its unity, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday, wrapping up his meeting with mothers of the service members taking part in the special military operation.
"The key foundation of our success is unity," the president said.
According to Putin, both center and periphery, all the regions - "they all form our huge country of Russia."
"It is not only a territory, and even not about the territory, but it is, first of all, people, their traditions, their culture, their history, which is passed on from generation to generation and is absorbed by all of us with the milk of our mothers," Putin stressed.
"It’s all thanks to you," he told the women.
