It is reported that Russian troops continue their offensive operations in the Donetsk area where they eliminated over 60 Ukrainian servicemen in the past day

MOSCOW, November 23. /TASS/. Russian forces obliterated a US-made AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radar in the Donetsk People’s Republic in the past day during the special military operation in Ukraine, Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on Wednesday.

"In the area of the settlement of Nikolayevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, an AN/TPQ-37 counter-battery radar of US manufacture was destroyed," the spokesman said.

In the areas of the settlements of Volnyansk in the Zaporozhye Region and Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Russian troops wiped out two Ukrainian missile/artillery armament and ammunition depots, the general added.

Russian forces delivered fire by artillery guns and heavy flamethrower systems, thwarting an attack by Ukrainian marine infantry and eliminating over 30 enemy troops in the Kupyansk area in the past day, Konashenkov reported.

"In the Kupyansk direction, artillery fire and strikes by heavy flamethrower systems thwarted an attempt by a Ukrainian marine infantry company to switch to an attack in the area of the settlement of Novosyolovskoye in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.

Russian artillery wiped out over 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two motor vehicles and one mortar in that area, the general specified.

Russian forces delivered preemptive fire, halting a Ukrainian army attack in the Krasny Liman area and eliminating about 20 militants in the past day, Konashenkov reported.

"In the Krasny Liman direction, preemptive fire thwarted an attempt by a Ukrainian company tactical group to advance for an attack in the area of the settlement of Chervonopopovka in the Lugansk People’s Republic," the spokesman said.

Russian forces eliminated as many as 20 Ukrainian troops, 3 mortar teams and 2 motor vehicles during the combat, the general specified.

Russian troops continue their offensive operations in the Donetsk area where they eliminated over 60 Ukrainian servicemen in the past day, Konashenkov reported.

"In the Donetsk direction, Russian troop units continued their offensive operations. In the past 24 hours, they eliminated over 60 Ukrainian servicemen and five combat armored vehicles in that area," the spokesman said.

Russian forces repelled a Ukrainian army advance towards the settlement of Pavlovka in the southern Donetsk area and eliminated an enemy subversive group in the Zaporozhye Region in the past day, Konashenkov reported.

"In the southern Donetsk direction, artillery fire and decisive operations by Russian troops thwarted an attempt by a Ukrainian company tactical group to advance towards the settlement of Pavlovka. In addition, preemptive fire inflicted damage on the enemy reserves advancing from the community of Ugledar" the spokesman said.

Also, in the area of the settlement of Novodarovka in the Zaporozhye Region, Russian troops eliminated a Ukrainian subversive/reconnaissance group. In all, the Ukrainian military lost over 40 servicemen killed and wounded, three armored vehicles, an MT-LB prime mover and four pickup trucks, the general said.

Russian combat aircraft, missile and artillery troops destroyed the command post of the Ukrainian army’s 128th mountain assault brigade in the Zaporozhye Region in the past day, Konashenkov reported.

"Operational-tactical and army aviation aircraft, missile and artillery troops destroyed the command post of the Ukrainian army’s 128th mountain assault brigade in the area of the settlement of Volnyansk in the Zaporozhye Region, and also 72 artillery units at firing positions, manpower and military hardware in 144 areas," the spokesman said.

The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed over 330 Ukrainian warplanes and more than 6,780 tanks and other combat armored vehicles since the beginning of their special military operation in Ukraine, the general said.

"In all, the following targets have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation: 333 aircraft, 177 helicopters, 2,554 unmanned aerial vehicles, 390 surface-to-air missile systems, 6,782 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 901 multiple rocket launchers, 3,615 field artillery guns and mortars and 7,329 special military motor vehicles," Konashenkov reported.
