Diplomat points to more proof of atrocities committed by Ukraine army, mercenaries

According to the diplomat, Moscow resolutely condemns such savage acts

MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Mounting evidence of atrocities committed by Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries in Ukraine are being uncovered daily, Ivan Nechayev, Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Information and Press Department, told a briefing on Thursday.

"Every day, ever more facts of atrocities by the Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries are being unearthed in the special military operation zone," he said.

"Ukrainian neo-Nazis, evidently drawing on their experience of blood-soaked provocations in Bucha and Izyum, barely waited for the pullout of Russia’s Armed Forces from parts of the Kherson Region and Kherson and resumed doing what they do best - brutalizing civilians," the diplomat added, commenting on the photographs of people tied to lampposts on Russian territories in the Kherson Region occupied by the Ukrainian army that recently emerged on the Internet.

According to the diplomat, Moscow resolutely condemns such savage acts. "In order to hide the atrocities by the Ukrainian armed formations, the Kiev regime forbade media representatives, including foreign ones, to visit the Kherson Region on the pretext of ‘stabilizing activities’," he explained. "The other day, they even revoked the accreditation of several Western journalists who had dared to report from the city on the eve of the arrival there of [Ukrainian President Vladimir] Zelensky, who, judging by the videos published on social networks and messengers, was met by a few residents refusing to evacuate Kherson, to say the least, with little enthusiasm," he added.

"The actions of the collective West and its puppet Kiev regime confirm the unconditional imperative to achieve the goals and mission of the special military operation. All of them will definitely be fulfilled," the diplomat concluded.
