Kremlin tight-lipped on Russia-US talks in Ankara

Earlier, it was confirmed that the bilateral consultations in Ankara were held at the initiative of the US

MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stayed mum on the topics of consultations held in Ankara on Monday between Russian and US officials.

"We have nothing to say about the content of these negotiations," Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

The Kremlin press secretary earlier confirmed to TASS the fact of the bilateral consultations in Ankara, saying that they were held at the initiative of the US.

Fahrettin Altun, Spokesman for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, also confirmed the fact that Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency William Burns met in Ankara on Monday.
