Ukraine’s military pushed back in attempt to break through Kherson defense, says official

Two Ukrainian tanks were destroyed

KHERSON, October 31. /TASS/. Russian troops thwarted a Ukrainian army attack to break through the defense line near the town of Berislav in the Kherson Region, destroying two enemy tanks, Kherson Region Deputy Governor Kirill Stremousov said on Monday.

"Today, on October 31, 2022, Ukrainian Neo-Nazis attempted to attack in the Berislav area but the attack was repelled and two tanks [of the Ukrainian military] were destroyed," he said.

The enemy’s manpower losses are being specified, Stremousov said.

The Kherson Region deputy governor reported on October 29 that the Ukrainian military had made an attempt to attack in the area of the village of Bruskinskoye. The Russian army pushed the enemy forces back to initial positions, he said.
