MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with his Slovakian counterpart Miroslav Lajcak, who also serves as the current chairperson of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Eurpoe (OSCE). Lavrov and Lajcak will discuss OSCE's priority tasks for 2019, including the activities of the Contact Group on the settlement in eastern Ukraine, resolution of the crises in Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh, and countering common threats, such as international terrorism and drug trafficking.

The foreign ministers will also discuss developing bilateral trade and economic and inter-parliamentary ties.

This is Lajcak's second visit to Russia in the last four months. He held talks with Lavrov last October. The sides then discussed OSCE's activities and bilateral relations, as well as the situation in Syria and Iraq.
