Russia, China can discuss Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline at APEC summit — Novak

The deputy prime minister expressed hope that the talks on the pipeline will be completed in the near future

MOSCOW, October 14. /TASS/. Russia and China can discuss the topic of Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline construction at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum.

"The agenda is always present when we discuss cooperation with our partners in the Asia-Pacific region," he said.

The deputy prime minister expressed hope that the talks on the pipeline will be completed in the near future to meet China’s gas needs.

The APEC summit will be held on November 18-19 in Shenzhen, China. President Vladimir Putin will lead the Russian delegation.
