ST. PETERSBURG, December 27. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller on Tuesday night.

"I congratulate you on the results of your work," the Russian leader said after Miller delivered his report. Miller informed Putin about record-high exports of Russian gas, including to China.

"Great. Congratulations," Putin replied.

The Russian president also congratulated all gas industry workers on the upcoming New Year.

Putin and Miller met in St. Petersburg, where the Russian president took part in summits of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Community.
