Electricity supplies to China may grow by 11% by end of 2022 — Novak

Earlier, CEO of Rosneft Igor Sechin said that Inter RAO (the operator of export and import of electricity in Russia) increased supplies to China by 33% in ten months of 2022

MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Electricity supplies from Russia to China may increase by 11% by the end of this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said at the 4th Russian-Chinese Energy Business Forum.

"The monthly volumes of supplies have been doubled at the request of the State Grid Corporation of China. We expect an increase in supplies by 11% by the end of the year," he said.

Earlier, CEO of Rosneft Igor Sechin said that Inter RAO (the operator of export and import of electricity in Russia) increased supplies to China by 33% in ten months of 2022, to around 4 bln kWh.
