Ukraine’s Internet traffic slumps by one-third — NetBlocks

Air raid warnings were issued across Ukraine on Tuesday

KIEV, November 15. /TASS/. Disruptions of the Internet service have hit Ukraine on Tuesday and Internet traffic slumped by one-third, according to NetBlocks, an international watchdog that monitors the Internet.

"Ukraine is currently experiencing a major internet disruption; live metrics show national connectivity at 67% of previous levels," the organization said on Telegram.

Lvov Mayor Andrey Sadovoy said earlier on Tuesday that Ukraine’s mobile providers limited the work of some services in an attempt to save enough power for telephone calls. He said before then that the city’s mobile communications and Internet services operated intermittently.

Air raid warnings were issued across Ukraine on Tuesday. The government and news media reported explosions in and around Kiev and in the Kharkov, Odessa, Sumy and some other regions. Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa and some other cities have been hit with blackouts, and Zhitomir lost water and power supply.
