Bank of Russia registers new payment system Astrasend

The operator maintains the list of countries eligible for money transfers and will post it on the payment system’s website

MOSCOW, October 31. /TASS/. The Central Bank has registered the Astrasend payment service and Inkakhran nonbanking credit institution as its operator, the regulator said on its website on Monday.

"The Bank of Russia made the decision on October 31, 2022 to register the Inkakhran nonbanking credit institution (joint stock company) as the operator of the Astrasend payment system," the Central Bank said.

The payment system will make domestic and international transfers, according to documents posted on the payment service’s website. The operator maintains the list of countries eligible for money transfers and will post it on the payment system’s website.
