SIMFEROPOL, June 10. /TASS/. Vladimir Rogov, a councilman of Zaporozhye’s civilian-military administration, on Friday said North America, despite sanctions, buys grain from the liberated areas of the Zaporozhye Region through third countries.
"We are approached by agricultural producers who can’t sell grain from the old harvest because there’s too much of it," he said on Rossiya-24 television.
"So, we started to look for markets and fairly quickly, in addition to the Russian market, reached agreements with representatives of the Middle East, Africa and North America, which is scaring us with sanctions, but, nevertheless, happily buys our grain - of course, through intermediaries and complicated schemes.".
