BANGALORE, February 10. /TASS/. Russia for the first time displayed Lancet-E kamikaze drone at Aero India show, TASS correspondent reported.
The complex includes Product 52-E carrier of guided munitions, Product 51-E and Z-16-E unmanned scout drone. Rosoboronexport said Lancet is distinguished "by exclusively successful engagement in real combat."
Lancet carries 3-5 kilograms of explosives and develops a cruising speed of 100 km/h. It dives on the target and accelerates 1.5 times. The cumulative warhead pierces 30-cm-thick armor. Lancet has several guidance systems - by coordinates, optical-electronic and combined. The drone is equipped with a telecom channel that transmits target image and confirms successful hit. It has a pre-contact detonator and destroys targets in a radius of 30-80 km. The maximum takeoff weight is 12 kg. Flight endurance is 30-40 minutes.
