Kiev regime plotting to pin WMD false flag on Moscow to further isolation, says Russia

Chief of Russian Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Force Igor Kirillov suggested that putting pressure on countries loyal and friendly to Russia

MOSCOW, April 23. /TASS/. A plot by the Kiev regime to employ a false flag involving weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) is aimed at accusing Russia of using prohibited types of weapons in a bid to isolate Moscow politically and economically, Chief of Russian Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Protection Force Igor Kirillov announced on Saturday.

"The staged usage of weapons of mass destruction is aimed at accusing Russia of using prohibited weapons, along the lines of the so-called Syrian scenario, when a country is subjected to economic and political isolation and excluded from international organizations, including the UN Security Council," he said.

Kirillov suggested that putting pressure on countries loyal and friendly to Russia, including India and China, forcing them to impose sanctions is a possible scenario.

At the same time, he recalled that Russia completely destroyed its chemical arsenal on September 27, 2017, which was confirmed by a certificate from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
