MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. Members of the Ukrainian media were free to cover the humanitarian mission in Alyoshki in the Kherson Region, while Russian reporters would hardly have had access to the locality had it been controlled by the Ukrainian army, Vincenzo Lorusso, who works for RT Doc, told TASS.
According to the Italian reporter, who covered the situation around Alyoshki, there were two Ukrainian correspondents, alongside Ukrainian ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets, in the locality.
"Had it been the other way around, I think it would have been difficult for Russian bloggers or reporters to enter Ukraine. At least, it would have been impossible for me, given that I was added to the Mirotvorets list," he opined.
Lorusso also pointed out the presence of correspondents with Italy’s ANSA news agency and RAI broadcaster in the town. He expressed hope that the heads of the two media outlets had allowed their staff to report the refugees' impressions without censorship or altering their accounts.
