EU approves allocation of €6.6 bln for Ukraine — Kallas

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy said that €900 million will be spent for the EU’s Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine

BRUSSELS, September 25. /TASS/. The EU member-countries approved the allocation of €6.6 bln from the European Peace Facility, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said.

"EU Member States have agreed on the terms for releasing €6.6 billion European Peace Facility funds for Ukraine," she wrote on X.

"€900 million are for the EU’s Military Assistance Mission for Ukraine," Kallas noted. €1 billion will be spent for financing new joint procurements, while €4.7 billion are earmarked for compensations to participating countries, she added.
