WASHINGTON, August 7. /TASS/. Progress has been made toward settling the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, US President Donald Trump stated.

"You know we're working on it (settling the conflict - TASS), and I think we're making progress. <…> I settled eight wars. I thought this would be maybe one of the easier ones, and it turned out to be the most difficult. But progress is being made," the US leader told reporters at the White House, without specifying what kind of progress he was referring to.
