TEL AVIV, March 9. /TASS/. Israel will send a delegation to Qatar in a move to stir up talks on the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and liberation of hostages held by Palestinian radicals, the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.
"Israel with support of the United States accepted the proposal of intermediaries and will send a delegation to Doha on Monday [March 10] to promote the [Gaza Strip] negotiating process," the office said.
According to the Ynet web portal, representatives of Mossad, the Israel Security Agency, the Israel Defense Forces, Coordinator for the Hostages and the Missing Gal Hirsch and Adviser to the Prime Minister Ophir Falk will be in the delegation. "The delegation will attempt to achieve implementation of the plan of [US Special Envoy Stephen] Witkoff," the web portal said, citing its source.
