No connection between Cybertruck explosion and Islamic State

One person died and seven others were wounded as a result of the Cybertruck explosion on Wednesday

NEW YORK, January 2. /TASS/. The Las Vegas Police does not believe that the Cybertruck explosion near the Trump International Hote is in any way related to the ISIS terrorist organization (the Islamic State, banned in Russia), sheriff Kevin McMahill said at a press conference.

"I will tell you that we don't have any indication of that here in Las Vegas. No overt ISIS flag, as was seen in New Orleans. But again, we are investigating every aspect of this, and if that comes to light, we'll certainly update you," the sheriff noted.

One person died and seven others were wounded as a result of the Cybertruck explosion on Wednesday. The deceased person has not yet been identified. According to ABC television, authorities investigate the incident as a potential terrorist act.
