BEIJING, April 10. /TASS/. An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 has been recorded in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said.

The epicenter was 43 km northwest of the Chinese county of Kuqa, home to 102,000 people, at a depth of 24 km.

There were no reports of casualties or damage.
