PepsiCo bans mentioning Ukrainian army, support for Kiev in advertising

MOSCOW, January 14. /TASS/. PepsiCo banned Ukrainian advertising agencies from mentioning hostilities, the Ukrainian armed forces and support for Kiev in advertisements of its products, B4Ukraine organization said.

According to its data, PepsiCo put forward such requirements when searching for potential partners in advertising its products in fall 2023. The list of restrictions indicated that there should be no mentioning of hostilities, the Ukrainian armed forces, calls to support Ukraine and its army and other negative connotations creating a feeling of danger.

As early as in September 2023, the Ukrainian national anti-corruption agency included PepsiCo and Mars into the list of "war sponsors" for their continuation of doing business in Russia.
