UN Security Council meeting on Nord Stream sabotage re-scheduled for February 21

The meeting is expected to vote on the draft Russian resolution on an international investigation of the explosion at the pipeline

UNITED NATIONS, February 21. /TASS/. The UN Security Council meeting on the sabotage at the Nord Stream pipeline, requested by Russia, has once again been scheduled for Tuesday, according to the Security Council agenda, published Monday evening.

The meeting is expected to vote on the draft Russian resolution on an international investigation of the explosion at the pipeline.

The meeting is scheduled for 15:00 local time. The draft resolution offers the UN Secretary General to establish an independent international commission of lawyers that will work on the investigation. Earlier, the resolution was supported by China’s Permanent Representative to the UN Zhang Jun.
