Tank supplies to Ukraine may trigger nuclear conflict, Trump warns

The German government confirmed on Wednesday that it would send 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine and would also give re-export permission to other countries

NEW YORK, January 26. /TASS/. Former US President Donald Trum[p is concerned that Western countries’ move to send tanks to Kiev may trigger a nuclear conflict.

"First come the tanks, then come the nukes. Get this crazy war ended, now. So easy to do!" Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Thursday.

The German government confirmed on Wednesday that it would send 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine and would also give re-export permission to other countries. US President Joe Biden later announced Washington’s plans to provide 31 Abrams tanks to Kiev. Biden claimed that the decision was not about fighting against Russia but about "freedom." In addition, the US president alleged that tank supplies did not mean "an offensive threat to Russia." Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, in turn, told reporters on Thursday that the Kremlin could see the US and other countries of the collective West becoming more and more involved in the conflict in Ukraine. Peskov said earlier that Western supplies of armored vehicles to Kiev could not change the situation on the ground, because "these tanks are burning and they will burn."
