Russia removes all coronavirus entry restrictions on foreign citizens

However, foreigners still need to provide a negative PCR test

MOSCOW, June 16. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry will lift all coronavirus restrictions on the entry of foreign citizens arriving into the country by air or sea, the ministry’s consular department said in a Telegram post on Thursday.

Foreigners still need to provide a negative PCR test though, the department added.

Belarusian citizens can make it into Russia, including from third countries, by any mean of transportation, while Uzbek nationals are allowed to arrive by train.

The federal COVID-19 crisis command center reported earlier that Russia’s coronavirus tally had risen by 3,326 to 18,388,424 cases over the past day. In relative terms, the growth rate reached 0.02%, the center said.
