MOSCOW, March 6. /TASS/. Cosmonauts on the International Space Station (ISS) have moved and installed inside the Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft the third customized seat, intended for NASA’s astronaut Frank Rubio, the Roscosmos press-service said on Monday.

"Today, the customized seat of NASA’s astronaut Francisco Rubio was transferred from the US spacecraft Crew Dragon and installed on the right-hand side of the Soyuz MS-23," the corporation said.

The mission of Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin and NASA astronaut Frank Rubio was extended due to a leak from the external loop of the thermal control system of the Soyuz MS-22 manned spacecraft on December 15. After analyzing the situation, the state commission decided to return the damaged space vehicle unmanned. The crew will travel back to Earth on the Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft, which was launched on February 24 and docked with the ISS two days later.
