More than 20 LPR servicemen returned home in recent prisoner swaps - official

The Russian Defense Ministry said earlier that 50 Russian servicemen returned on Thursday from the Kiev-controlled area as a result of talks

LUGANSK, November 24. /TASS/. More than 20 servicemen of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic have returned home in prisoners exchanges over the past two days, Viktoria Serdyukova, the LPR’s human rights commissioner, said on Thursday.

"As a results of prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine that took place today and yesterday, we have been able to send back home 23 LPR servicemen," she said.

The Russian Defense Ministry said earlier that 50 Russian servicemen returned on Thursday from the Kiev-controlled area as a result of talks. The previous prisoner swap took place on Wednesday, resulting in a return of 35 Russian servicemen.
