MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russia’s fertilizer production is important not only for the country itself but for the entire world, Russian President Vladimir Putin said as he opened a PhosAgro training facility in the Murmansk Region via video link during a meeting with government members.
"This is important for the economy as a whole," the president said. "It is an export-oriented sector that works not only in the interests of the Russian Federation but also for many of our partners and friends abroad."
The head of state praised the fact that "at least 500 trainees will constantly work there, mastering their professions both on-site and in the classrooms" of the Murmansk Region facility.
"These are very serious issues and serious professions like 'blaster' or 'blasting operations.' In short, a whole range of skills, and just reading through them makes it clear how complex the work done by companies like yours really is," Putin added.
The president assured that the authorities would do everything possible to popularize these professions. They are "interesting, very complex, and even dangerous," Putin noted. "But I am confident that by creating such training conditions, the number of people wishing to enter these fields will steadily grow," the president concluded.
The head of state pointed out that "PhosAgro fully funded this project out of its own resources." "This highly responsible attitude toward personnel training will undoubtedly yield results," Putin concluded.
