MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. It is impossible to intimidate Russia -- this is obvious to everyone, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting of the Military·Industrial Commission.

He mentioned the death of Yelena Astanina, the chairwoman of one of the precinct election commissions in the Zaporozhye Region, who was killed in an attack by the Ukrainian armed forces, and asked why the Ukrainian regime is committing such crimes.

"To intimidate us? It’s obvious to everyone that this is impossible," Putin noted. This means, he added, that Kiev’s real goal is its unwillingness to negotiate.
