MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. Kiev's terror attacks on Russia preclude any chance to talk peace with it, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement following terrorist attacks targeting heads of precinct election commissions in the Zaporozhye Region.
"The actions of the Kiev clique are in no way consistent with a desire for a peaceful, negotiated settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, so often touted in the speeches given by the [Kiev] regime’s leader and his Western patrons. It is impossible to speak of diplomacy with those who rely on methods of political assassinations and sabotage," the ministry emphasized.
According to the foreign ministry, "by betting on armed escalation and terror against civilians, the Kiev junta is deliberately seeking to torpedo any theoretical chances for a negotiation process." "The way Kiev acts once again highlights the unconditional need to carry out the special military operation," the ministry explained.
