Kremlin spokesman denies rumors of plans to mobilize 300,000 by year-end

MOSCOW, September 18. /TASS/. Russia has no plans to mobilize 300,000 men by the end of the year, Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated in comments to RTVI.

Earlier, Bloomberg, citing a European security official, reported that Russia was allegedly preparing to conscript 300,000 people into the army by the end of 2026.

"No. There are no such plans," the Kremlin spokesman said.
